Sweet Home: Research Residences in Six Homes of Madrid

  • Location: Madrid, Spain
  • Deadline: June 28, 2013
  • Duration: Each residence will be held for two weeks, between September and December 2013
  • Eligibility: Artists, curators, managers or other cultural agents, who do not live or work in Spain, wanting to research in Madrid
  • Costs & Support: The program covers the cost of accommodation. The resident guest should assume his/her travel and subsistence expenses during these two weeks.

After the first call for local, where we selected six cultural agents residing in Madrid, now open international call for choosing artists, curators, managers or other non-residents in Spain who want to make an artistic research in Madrid. Each residence will be held for two weeks, between September and December 2013, in one of six private homes selected cultural agents.
Each host will also provide accommodation in the guest room, the possibility of introducing the international resident in the cultural fabric of its closest context . The program covers the cost of accommodation, so that the resident guest should assume travel expenses and support during these two weeks.
The call is open to professionals working ttodos in culture and not living in Spain. There is no age limit and participation is free.Have priority over proposals that adequately fit the profile of the hosts. To ensure this goal, the six hosts will be part, in turn, the jury in this second call. The six houses will be held between September 1 and December 31, 2013.
