3 year artist residency w/ £32,000 annual stipend

The Grendon Friends Trust, in partnership with Ikon is inviting visual artists to apply for a
three-year residency based at HMP Grendon, Buckinghamshire. The residency is funded by
the Marie-Louise von Motesiczky Charitable Trust. An exciting opportunity for an artist to
work in a unique, therapeutic setting. The successful candidate will produce his/her own
work to reflect the experience of the residency and to deliver an effective arts programme
to the prison community.

The annual fee in the region of £32,000 is offered for this post together with a studio space
and a generous materials and exhibition budget.
