Women’s Studio Workshop offers a six to eight week studio residency
grant to support an artist creating a new body of work in one of WSW’s
studio disciplines – intaglio, hand papermaking, letterpress printing,
screen printing, book arts, and ceramics.
The grant includes a stipend of $350 per week, up to $500 toward
materials used during the residency, travel costs up to $250 within the
Continental US, housing, and unlimited studio use. Residency occurs 6-18
months after application. The artist will be provided with technical
advice and assistance in production. WSW welcomes applications from
artists in all stages of their careers. This Studio Residency Grant is a
two-step juried process. WSW selects the artist, then sends their work
to appropriate funders for final approval.
