The Wyoming Arts Council will award up to two fellowships to honor the most exciting, creative work by Wyoming residents in dance and theatre performance.

Visegrad Artist Residency Program - Performing Arts

The pro­gram aim at sup­port­ing inno­va­tion, exper­i­ment and cre­ativ­ity in the per­form­ing arts—new drama, con­tem­po­rary dance, new cir­cus, phys­i­cal the­atre, visual the­ater, alter­na­tive the­ater, per­for­mance art. The pro­gram is not suit­able for stone the­aters, already devel­oped per­for­mances, or the­ater fes­ti­vals. The pro­gram sup­ports exchanges and con­tributes toward more inten­sive col­lab­o­ra­tion among free­lance artists and per­form­ing arts insti­tu­tions in V4 countries.

The finan­cial sup­port is given to both the artists and the host insti­tu­tions in the fol­low­ing format:
€4,000 for indi­vid­ual res­i­dency (1–2 artists): €1,500 for the host institution/€2,500 for the artist(s);
€8,000 for group res­i­dency (3 artists and more): €2,500 for the host institution/€5,500 for the artis­tic group.

Applicants must be citizens of V4 to be considered

PERFORM NOW! #3 CALL FOR PROJECTS

Requirements:

A performance may last between 10 and 45 minutes. This does may include site specific work (city, place of the festival) or participative works.

The project proposal comprises:

o completed application form

o project description (max. 2 A4-pages)

o short CVs for all participating artists (max. 1/2 A4-page per artist)

o Documentation of previous relevant work (Text, Videos, Images etc.)

We are proud to announce the third edition of the Festival PERFORM NOW! in Winterthur (aproxily end of September 2013).

PERFORM NOW! takes place every two years in Winterthur (Schweiz) and offers current trends in performance art. PERFORM NOW is a unique platform for contemporary forms of expression of art, dance, music and theater. Connected to the Festival is the Symposium TRANS: SCRIPT and the platform for newcomers, TRANS:FORMATOR. The TRANS:FORMATOR is addressed to young performer they either they just completed, going to complete their training or have been working for several years of the field of performance-art.

The Festival presents works from all areas of the Arts (transdisciplinary).

For the upcoming festival perform now! #3 we are looking for performance projects. The work must be suitable to show in a room that has not a classic stage or is a white cupe.

Performances can be visual, acoustic, moving, installative, participatory et cetera.
